As the current World #2 on the Big Wave World Tour, Felicity "Flick" Palmateer loves a challenge and embraces anything that spikes her adrenaline.
The athlete, artist and adventure seeker is best known for breaking the world record for riding the biggest wave ever surfed by an Australian female.
A professional surfer since the age of 17, Flick has competed in hundreds of events locally and across the world. She has multiple WA State Titles, Is a Pro Junior Champion, ISA world finalist, qualified for the World Championship Tour at age 20, and in 2015 she became the first female ever to tackle the remote WA reef break, Cow Bombie.
She was recently a finalist in the 2021 season of Australian Survivor. During her time on the show, Felicity’s mother passed away from early onset dementia and she used her platform to become a voice and spread awareness around this disease.
She uses her thriving platform to share important messages about some of her biggest passions in life: conservation, sustainability, protecting the world’s natural resources and of course, having fun in the sun and water!
