Ash’s love for the ocean started at a very early age, growing up in a sleepy beach town in West Australia. As far back as he can remember, he was at the beach surfing, diving, fishing and/or anything that involved getting in the ocean.
His passion for health & fitness and understanding of the body and its amazing potential is what drives him everyday. Ash is a massive advocate for Dry Training to supplement his ocean activities and he incorporates running, boxing, yoga and functional conditioning in his daily routines.
He’s been boxing since a young age and really enjoy’s teaching students a skill set that involves huge amount of discipline, concentration, technique, strength and stamina all at the same time.
Ash spent 15 yrs in the Mining industry in Leadership roles and holds a Diploma in Project Management. He also spent 6 yrs in Emergency Response as a Captain with extensive training in Fire Fighting, Rope Rescue, Vehicle Ex, Confined Space Rescue & Hazmat and has recently completed a Wilderness First Aid course.
